GM Cable Contractors, Inc. has firmly established itself as the premier telecommunications contractor in the city of Baton Rouge, and perhaps one of the most trusted contractors in the state of Louisiana. Our workforce of over 70, consisting of seasoned technicians, capable administrative and management staff have both the ability and dedication to meet your project demands. Whether the job is an overhead aerial project, underground buried service job, Category 3 cable to Category 6 network, fiber / optical networking, fusion splicing & termination, Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) design and installation, or directional boring, we offer more services and expertise to fit any need. GM has the experience to get the job done right the first time. We have again been awarded the 2004 Manpower Contract for the Louisiana State University (LSU). Our company has either served as the prime contractor or subcontractor for the contract for nearly seven (7) years. LSU is the flagship university of the Louisiana university system and their demands would prove to be a challenge for any contracting firm. The need for greater broadband connectivity and network access will continue to escalate to higher levels of sophistication complexity.
