Gilbert Joseph Matherne incorporated GM Cable Contractors in 1984. Through the years, he has watched the business grow from a one-man shop to a company with over 70 employees. His hard work and determination have helped GM Cable grow to be one of the largest telecommunications company in the region.
Longevity of employment is usually a key factor in determining the strength of a business, and to date, GM Cable has ten employees with 10+ years of service and another 12 employees with 5+ years of service.
Over the years, GM Cable Contractors, Inc. has worked hard to establish itself as one of the most trusted contractors in the state of Louisiana. We take pride in our company and our community.
